Generate UUID postfunction

Since v1.2

Generate an UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) in a text field.

To add 'Generate UUID' to a transition:

1. Click Edit for the workflow that has the transition you wish to add the post-function on.

2. In the Workflow Designer, select the transition.

3. Click on Postfunction in the properties panel.

4. Click on Add postfunction.

5. Select Generate UUID from the list of postfunctions.

6. Click on Add to add the postfunction on the transition.

7. Fill the form shown below and press 'Add' button.

Fields

Text field – Text field that will cointain the generated UUID.

Ignore if the field is not empty – If checked then the postfunction will not overwrite any text in the selected field.
