Creates a new issue(s), new linked issue(s) or clones the transitioning issue.

The first field select the behaviour of the postfunction, there are four similar forms but some differences:

  • New issue / Child of current issue: create a new issue(s) or child issue of the transitionated issue with the selected options. Both have the same options to be set.

  • Subtask of current issue: create a new issue issue that is subtask of the current issue with the selected options.

  • Clone of current issue: create a clon of the transitioned issue in the selected project(s).

Fields

  • Create as: This is a select field where you be able to select how to create the new issue(s).

  • Project(s): This is a multi-select field where you be able to select in which project(s) the issue(s) will be created. If more than one is selected, there will be created that number of new issues.

  • Issue type/Subtask type: the issue type for the new created issue(s).

  • Summary: The summary for the new issue(s).

  • Description: The description for the new issue(s).

  • Issue link type: The issue link used to link the new issue(s) with the transitioned issue.

  • Assignee: The user that who be the assignee for the new issue(s).

  • Reporter: The user that who be the reporter for the new issue(s).

  • Copy fields: The fields that you want to copy from the transitioned issue to the new issue(s).

Issue(s) will not be created if there is inconsistent data in the form input data. For example, if you select an issue type that is not valid in the target project(s), if you select to copy fields whose contexts are different in the target project(s), etc.
