What is a Notification Template Scheme?

A Notification Template Scheme will allow you to assign different templates to different types of users (licensed or unlicensed users, or external users). Once created, the Notification Template Scheme will be assigned to one or more issue types within a project.

Accessing the Notification Template Scheme section

  1. Click the  from the top menu and choose Issues from the dropdown list. 
  2. Select  'Notification Template Scheme' from the left menu.

    Alternatively you can press '.' to show the quick search dialog and type 'Notification Templates Scheme' and hit <enter> to go to this menu.

  3. Next, you will see the following screen:

Add a new Notification Template Scheme

  1. In order to create a new Notification Template Scheme, click the 'Add Notification Template' button. The following dialog box will show:
  2. Specify a name for this Notification Template Scheme
  3. Next, select the templates this scheme will  use for the three different types of users (licensed, unlicensed and external users).
  4. Click "Save" to save this new scheme.

Delete, Edit or Copy a Notification Template Scheme

In the list of Notification Template Schemes you'll see on the  right hand side the available actions. You can either edit, copy or delete a Notification Tempalte Scheme

Template Notification Schemes that are part of a Issue Type Notification Template Scheme cannot be deleted.
