After switching on TemplateMe! for a specific project, the default JIRA notifications stop working. When you return to JIRA's default notification scheme, TemplateMe! will be turned off automatically. NOTE: The described behaviour will not affect to JIRA Service Desk notifications, since JSD projects have got their own notification system TemplateMe! isn't compatible with this kind of projects. |
Once you have created an Issue Type Notification Template Scheme, you can assign this scheme to a project. Follow these steps to do this:
- Go to your project administration
- Select "Notification Scheme Templates" from the left menu
- You will see a screen like this
: - Select an Issue Type Notification Template and a Notification Scheme from the dropdown lists.
- Click "Save" to save your changes.

The Notification Scheme decides who will receive the notifications, whereas the Issue Type Notification Scheme determines what templates are used for each issue type when sending notifications. |
